LO4 - Planning for the graphic design production

This is a estimation of the products i will be using and the overall budget that would be needed to create the campaign designs.

Adobe programs - £36.59/month, these will be used for creating the graphics used in my campaign

A graphic designer would be £30/per hour, and the graphics could take from 10 -20 hours to create

T-shirt printing - £1.90/each, so 30 T-shirts would cost £57 to create

1000 flyers printed for £15.

1 ticket would cost 0.02 so to create 1000 would cost £20

This would be an overall cost of around £190 for all of the merchandise and hiring of a graphic designer.

Legal and ethical

When looking at the ASAs guidelines i can see that there are many things that i need to be cautious off if i want my festival campaign to be seen as wide of an audience as possible.

For example the use of alcohol in marketing campaigns must be sociably responsible and must not contain anything that is likely to lead to people adopting styles of drinking that is unwise for a viewing audience. This is appropriate to my campaign as it targeted towards a audience who would not be of legal age to drink alcohol so promoting this would be breaking the ASA guidelines.

Another example of a guideline that i would need to abide to is harm and offense, i would need to make sure none of my promotional material does not cause any harm or offense for example i must make sure that none of my graphics cause offense to any viewers and that the text i choose to use is appropriate for all viewers.

I must also make sure that all my promotional material stays true to what they are meant to be advertising which is a music festival and that no misleading information is displayed on the promotional material either this could lead to viewers being mislead and legal action being taken against the event.
